SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL DESIGN Volunteer opportunities Are you creative with a passion for Jesus and storytelling? Our church wants to “get answers…discover meaning…find connection…grow in faith”– and we need digital storytellers to help share that mission online. As a digital media volunteer, you’ll use your God-given talents to design eye-catching social posts, build web pages, create flyers and ads that spread hope and community. Every believer is blessed with unique gifts, and we believe these are meant to be used “in connection with others through the community of faith”– even on Facebook, Instagram, or our website! Your creativity could literally bring Jesus’ life-giving message into people’s newsfeeds. This is an unpaid volunteer position starting now. ADULT BIBLE STUDY LEADERS/TEACHERS Volunteer opportunities Do you love God’s Word and enjoy deep conversations? We’re recruiting caring adults to lead small-group Bible studies and walk through Scripture one book at a time. At Streetsboro UMC we know “God wants us to know His Word,” but reading alone can be tough, which is why “we love group Bible studies” As a volunteer leader, you’ll ask thoughtful questions, encourage honest sharing, and guide discussions that help others discover Jesus and God’s plan for their lives. You’ll see people grow in faith week by week as you study the Bible together, just as we teach – “helping ourselves and others to grow in our faith and knowledge of everything Jesus taught us” No teaching degree is required – just a humble heart, willingness to learn alongside your group, and a love for people. These unpaid roles start right away, and we’ll support you every step of the way. If you feel called to walk with others through Scripture in a community of faith, we’d love to hear from you.
